Ryan Keller, CIOThis is where ImageSource comes into the picture.
With a legacy of 27 years, ImageSource is the industry-leading independent business process management platform provider that assists organizations with digital transformation and workflow automation. ImageSource is the provider of the ILINX platform built to help its customer partners—ranging from SMBs and state governments to Fortune 500s—automate business processes. The ILINX platform grew organically to provide capture, storage, format advanced data capture, analytics, and data-loss prevention, to name a few.
In an interview with CIO Applications magazine, Ryan Keller, CIO of ImageSource, sheds light on how ImageSource assists organizations to digitally transform content and automate workflows and business processes in the cloud.
Please elaborate on what ImageSource brings to the table.
ImageSource's ILINX platform includes multiple modules designed to help our customer partners in everything related to business process automation, from content onboarding, retention, and integration to line of business applications. The platform elevates manual processes and can integrate with critical external systems, ultimately delivering advanced solutions and workflows that the workforce desperately needs.
ILINX modules like Engage enable clients to provide centralized access and interaction with customers or constituents. ILINX Engage provides 24/7 self-service with intuitive and elegant user experiences. Allowing the initiation and monitoring of a business process, collecting critical data, and even scheduling of next steps. The solution transforms content, creates context and visibility uses documents, data, and retention policies to create living workflows. Besides that, it provides clarity into processes like case management via user-specific document access, routing, and calendar abilities. Users can also seamlessly leverage analytics capabilities and build in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process improvement.
How can clients go up and running with ILINX?
ILINX Platform enables organizations in the digital transformation of content and to automate workflows and business processes in the cloud
We create the ILINX product roadmap from the vision ImageSource shares with our customer partners. We based our planned releases on their needs and deliver measurable value and return on investment (ROI). We help replace their old legacy systems, which often carry significant security risks and support burdens, and provide best-in-class solutions.
How has the company positioned itself in assisting its clients in the wake of the pandemic?
We directly worked with several of our customer partners to respond to the rapid demands to work from home the pandemic introduced. We determine their specific requirements for banks, credit unions, financial services agencies, and governmental organizations. They had immediate needs to enable remote access to their systems and content but maintain the security that in-office access permitted.
ILINX is cloud-based, and our customers were able to leverage that immediately while adapting to working remotely. We helped supplement their workforce when they ran into staffing issues with our Managed Services abilities and quickly onboarding additional business processes to cloud-based ILINX solutions.
Also, during the pandemic, many organizations suffered cyber security breaches. From these events, almost every business has learned that cyber security is paramount and a critical priority. Our customers require us to be transparent about securing content, solution development, deployment, and management. We rapidly developed our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution to remotely secure personally identifiable information in the content accessed remotely. DLP manages access by user type and via integration with existing security policies and has been deployed via the cloud to manage remote and off-shore work.
Could you cite a customer success story where you helped them overcome their challenges?
A well-known healthcare organization reached out to us looking for a solution for their patient onboarding process. They had more than 6,000 nurses who were providing palliative and hospice care. To onboard new patients, nurses went to a patient's home to complete all the necessary documents by hand and physically return them or ship them to an office for final processing. The whole procedure took the organization 15 to 30 days to complete, resulting in an incompetent and unsatisfactory level of patient care, delayed billing, and payment.
ImageSource designed a mobile application for the nurses to submit documents and patient detials to their patient system via the cloud to build a solution. Now, they take images, capture signatures, and all other necessary documents via mobile iPhone, and submit them directly into a workflow that informs the next nurse on duty and enables billing and payment. The solution automates their workflow and eliminates the financial and patient care bottlenecks.
What does the future hold for ImageSource?
We continue to expand the ILINX platform with AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) and have implemented our newest Cognitive Services solution. We want to leverage more technologies to offset workforce issues, including staffing and onboarding challenges, while enhancing user experience. We are looking for opportunities to expand and implement ILINX Engage, providing visibility to our customer partners to understand their processes, create and track workflows, and provide better services to their customers
